SINGAPORE, 3 NOVEMBER 2023 — Ms. Shyan Phang, CEO of Sun Bus Tech, had the privilege to attend the SMRT Mobility Masterclass in Singapore, an event marked by the convergence of transportation industry leaders to envision the future of mobility. The masterclass presented a comprehensive agenda, featuring discussions on sustainable transportation, the integration of advanced digital technologies in transit systems, and enhancing commuter experiences.
A strong and impactful opening by SMRT Chairman, Mr Seah Moon Ming, with his sharing of the wisdom of “十年树木，百年树人” – it takes ten years to grow trees but a hundred years to cultivate a person. People is the asset in any organization, the right people, right leader, right team will build a strong organization.
Among the highlights of the masterclass was a session led by Mr. Khaw Boon Wan, former Transport Minister of Singapore, which he shared how important is the willingness of the leaders of an organization to step up and work as a team in times of crisis. Ability to lead by example will help an organization to start the right culture and path for the future. Mr Khaw demonstrated this during his many years of public service.
